PRE-TOUR INFORMATION

Day 1 - May 25 - Venice: Welcome to Venice, Italy. The pre-tour of Emilia Romagna with Andrea King Travel. Upon arrival, your private transfer will greet you at the meeting point inside the Venice airport, and guide you to your private transfer to your hotel. Enjoy a welcome drink with the group in the early afternoon depending on your flight’s arrival time, and a quick overview of this 2-day adventure. We will explore the city together in the afternoon and call it an early night, so we are prepared for what is in store.

Day 2 - May 26 - Venice: Prosecco Tour. That’s right folks. We are going to jump right in with my favorite sparkling wine; Prosecco! Let’s travel through the countryside famous for its Prosecco production. This captivating area is home to precious vineyards, wine cellars and charming cathedrals. We will visit beautiful monuments as the Castle of Conegliano, the ancient Church of Santa Maria at Folina, the romantic Molinetto della Croda, at Refrontolo with the murmuring waterfalls. Enjoy wine tasting and lunch at a local restaurant. Explore this largely undiscovered region & its namesake wine.

Day 3/Day 1 of Main Tour - May 27 - Venice: Walking Tour: We will make the most of our stay here in Italy, and Venice is no exception. After breakfast, we will pack our bags and leave them at the front desk, so we can enjoy a last look at the city with a guide. Then we bid farewell to this amazing island, and head to the train station for our first Italian train adventure to Porretta Terme. End of Services for Pre-Tour.

Post Tour Information

Day 9/Day 1 of Post Tour - June 04 - Rome: End of services for Main Tour. From our Tuscany accommodation, we will take a train to Rome and transfer to our hotel. After we drop our luggage, we will hit the town to discover Rome and all its magnificence. There is nothing like a Saturday night in Rome. We will explore with our guide and enjoy the evening at our leisure.

Day 2 - June 05 - Rome: Food Tour. Are you ready for more? The Rome Food Tour is the perfect way to dive into the city's food scene, get acquainted with the flavors and eat a lot of delicious Italian food in one unforgettable evening. Explore the trattorias of one of the best foodie neighborhoods in Rome, the old Jewish Ghetto. Taste classic Roman foods, like charcuterie, Pecorino Romano, Supplš, and local wines and beers. Make your own pizza in a real Roman pizzeria. We'll have the dough and the pizza oven, all you need to bring is an appetite and the desire to learn from a real pizza maker. Finally, you'll do as the Italians do and take a comfortable stroll through the city, stopping for a cup or cone of gelato.

Day 3 - June 06 - Rome: What a journey! Thank you so much for joining us, eating, drinking, and exploring Italy. A private transfer will meet you at the hotel to take you to the Rome airport. End of Services.
